Terms and Conditions of Service

By accessing the web portal (klgancientworld.com), launching the MythiLens application, or contributing via our payment/patronage services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part, you must discontinue platform use immediately.

KLG Ancient World is a digital heritage preservation studio operating cross-platform technological ecosystems:

• The Web Portal (klgancientworld.com): Provides verified academic chapters (including the Alqueva Stone Throne and St. Peter of the Orchards sagas), researcher inquiry gates, and patronage mechanisms.
• MythiLens Mobile Ecosystem: An offline-first suite featuring computer vision artifact identification, epigraphic OCR script translation, spatial GPS routing, gamified campaigns, and AI companion assistance.

To safeguard research data, certain portal paths and MythiLens preview channels require authentication via our 2-step passwordless One-Time Password (OTP) protocol:

• You agree to furnish a valid, functional email address or mobile contact.
• The creation of accounts using disposable (“burner”) email domains is strictly forbidden and triggers automated rejection.
• Access tokens (klg_session) stored in your browser or local app storage are non-transferable.
• You are entirely responsible for all interactions conducted under your active token session.

• Proprietary Software Assets: All front-end architectures, Three.js/React Three Fiber 3D asset models, shader programs, embedded LibSQL local-first schema designs, and Adler-32 Cache Guard hashing algorithms remain the sole, proprietary intellectual property of KLG Ancient World and its founders.
• Curated Academic Datasets: Historical sagas, epigraphic translations, and geographic coordinates curated in partnership with academic researchers (e.g., Dr. Marco Valente / Ataegina Project) are protected by copyright and international academic fair-use frameworks.
• Anti-Scraping Restriction: Automated extraction, programmatic scraping, data mining, or unauthorized caching of our epigraphic translation matrices, 3D assets, or user registries is actionable under Section 43 & Section 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India).

If you participate in early-access beta releases of MythiLens:

• You acknowledge the software is an active, iterative product undergoing continuous stress testing.
• Features, point balances, quest progression, or local cache schemas may be updated or reset without liability.
• Any feature suggestions, feedback reports, or telemetry data provided by you shall become the royalty-free, exclusive property of KLG Ancient World.

• Financial contributions, digital quest unlocks, and voluntary sponsorships made through our platform are securely processed via Razorpay Software Private Limited.
• Contributions represent voluntary non-equity patronage intended to support our research documentation, local server nodes, and field travel across archaeological sites.
• Payment processing is governed by Section 7 (Refund Policy) and Section 8 (Digital Fulfillment).

• 100% Software Overlay: MythiLens and KLG Ancient World provide purely non-invasive digital overlays. No physical tags, sensors, or markers are affixed to archaeological monuments.
• Compliance with ASI Regulations: Users visiting physical heritage monuments (including sites supervised by the Archaeological Survey of India or global cultural trusts) must observe all local preservation statutes. You may not touch weathered epigraphs, cross safety barriers, deface stone masonry, or enter restricted sanctums.
• Field Awareness: You assume complete personal liability for your safety. Do not interact with camera views or AR UI while walking along steep, unstable, or hazardous archaeological surfaces.

Translations generated by the Ancient Inscription Translator and historical analysis provided by the AI Artifact Scanner are produced via multimodal generative algorithms (e.g., Google Gemini) cross-referenced against historical dictionaries. Weathering, surface erosion, and biological patina on stone surfaces can introduce transcription noise. Outputs are educational interpretations and do not constitute formal legal or academic epigraphic certifications. (See our Heritage Ethics & AI Disclaimer).

We track game loop activities, completion speeds, and quest timestamps. Attempting to reverse-engineer client databases, spoof GPS coordinates, bypass Adler-32 deduplication pipelines, or artificially inflate XP/points via bot scripts will lead to permanent revocation of portal and app access.

To the maximum extent permissible by law, KLG Ancient World, its founders, team members, and scientific advisors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Interpretation errors or historical discrepancies in AI-generated data.
• Personal injuries or regulatory fines sustained while visiting archaeological monuments.
• Intermittent downtime, edge sync latency, or service interruptions from cloud and API providers.

These Terms shall be interpreted, governed by, and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent civil courts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
